So you've been visiting OXCI for some time now and would like to take the next step. What next? Firstly we believe Membership Matters! Membership comprises a number of things.

Firstly, attend the next 'LIT' (Looking In Time). Our 'LIT' is for anyone who has not yet become a member of OXCI and would like to find out a little more about OXCI and meet the elders. We meet immediately after the morning service for around 45 minutes depending on Q & A time. See Events Calendar for our next 'LIT'

Secondly, once you have attended a 'LIT' and both you and the Elders are happy, you will be introduced to the rest of the OXCI Family. This simply entails standing in front of the church and being introduced along with others being welcomed into membership. Don't panic you wont have to speak unless you want to.

The final phase to membership is involvement. As a body each member has a part to play. This phase is what membership is all about. If a member of your body stops working, that part is considered disabled and needs to be taken care of constantly, contributing nothing to the body, only taking. This is easily prevented or remedied by finding what your gifting is and allowing that gift to work it's way out in the body.
