Welcome to the first ever issue of our new OXCI newsletter!!! We hope to do exciting things with this newsletter and hope to bring relevant news from within the church and community to you on a regular basis.

While putting this newsletter together I had all the usual problems; writer’s block ... eeekkkkk!!, what will go in, how will it be presented, when should it be finished, will we make the deadline, can I even spell anymore???

But even though all these thoughts went through my mind, I am blessed to have been asked to take care of our OXCI newsletter. The contributions in this newsletter come from a very personal place and they have made me cry and laugh and stand in awe of the great wonders our God and Father does for all of us on a daily basis.

I hope you enjoy reading about what we do, who we are, what we will be doing and how you can join us in building relationships and making a difference in our community and area!! Join us on the journey of life in Christ and see the blessings all around.

In this issue we will be highlighting events that have happened over the summer, including some personal accounts, what is to come over the next few months and a testimony of God’s grace in one of our members’ life. To enable everyone to get to know the leaders and deacons in church a bit better, we will be featuring profiles of the leadership team in this and future issues.

You will be able to read about our internal ministries, what they do and, if you are interested, how you can join a team and who to contact. Furthermore we have some news on relating churches and ministries further afield.

I hope you find this newsletter jam-packed with information you need and that you look forward to the next one!!!
